Q43 Anchor-Bolt Wording: Keep Site Approval Separate

An archived statement about Q43 anchor-bolt fixing does not approve an installation at a particular site. Treat the historical wording as a question to resolve against the current machine documents, not as permission to omit fixing, foundation review or a site assessment.

Nanyuan’s earlier Q43 series page describes installation without anchor-bolt fixing as a feature associated with layout adjustment. The current Q43-160 listing identifies its model data as historical and asks for a current drawing and data sheet. Neither page supplies a complete approved installation design for the buyer’s site.

Read the fastening statement without expanding its meaning

The sentence appears in the features section of the earlier Q43 product page. It is a series-level description, not a site-specific engineering document. Its presence does not prove that every current Q43 configuration has the same fixing or support requirements.

More importantly, a statement about anchor bolts does not establish floor suitability, load-bearing capacity, stability, ground preparation or the complete support arrangement. Replacing that sentence with a broader phrase such as “no foundation required” would introduce a claim that the wording does not settle.

Separate the three sources of a decision

  • Historical feature: the wording that prompted the buyer’s question.
  • Current machine requirements: applicable installation documents for the exact proposed configuration.
  • Site assessment: qualified review of those requirements against the actual location and local obligations.

Each has a different purpose. The historical feature helps identify an issue; current documentation establishes what the manufacturer requires for the proposed machine; the responsible site specialists assess the location. A purchasing comparison should preserve those responsibilities instead of converting one catalog sentence into all three decisions.

Request the applicable documents before closing the question

Identify the model, quotation revision and intended installation location. Ask the supplier for the current installation requirements and relevant drawing references, including the fixing and support arrangements applicable to that configuration. Ask explicitly whether and how the historical sentence applies to the equipment being offered.

Provide the existing site information through the project’s approved review process. The responsible engineer should determine what supporting information is necessary. This article does not specify a floor construction, slab thickness, bolt type, bearing capacity, leveling procedure or machine position.

The existing installation planning guide covers the wider space, power and material-flow package. Use it as coordination context, not as a substitute for the selected shear’s installation instructions.

Resolve conflicting documents rather than choosing the easier statement

If a current drawing or instruction differs from the older catalog wording, ask the supplier to reconcile the difference in writing. Keep the original references and the clarification together. Do not silently discard the more restrictive document, edit a drawing or assume that a familiar model name makes a previous installation applicable.

An unresolved difference should remain visible in the project record with an owner and the evidence needed to close it. A statement that documents have been requested is different from confirmation that the site arrangement has been reviewed and accepted by the responsible parties.

Record the decision and its scope

  • Q43 model and current quotation or machine identification.
  • Historical wording and source reference.
  • Current installation drawing and instruction revisions.
  • Supplier clarification of fixing and support requirements.
  • Site reviewer, reviewed location and assessment reference.
  • Outstanding information or conditions, if any.

Revisit the affected conclusion if the configuration or proposed location changes. A review tied to one arrangement should not become a blanket statement about all Q43 machines or every floor in the facility.

Ask the precise installation-scope question

Contact Nanyuan with the Q43 reference and the intended site. Ask which current documents define the offered machine’s installation requirements and how the archived anchor-bolt statement relates to them. Have the responsible qualified parties resolve the actual installation before proceeding; this procurement note is not an instruction to remove or omit any fixing.
