Horizontal Baler Feed Mix: Keep Material Trials Separate

A trial on one material does not automatically approve a horizontal baler for a different feed stream. Keep each material, machine configuration and observed result linked in a separate record. A broad product description can identify a candidate for inquiry, but project suitability needs evidence for the actual material and proposed use.

Start with the proposed HPM configuration

Nanyuan’s HPM semi-automatic horizontal baler listing is a starting point for comparing a proposed configuration. Record the exact offer and equipment reference before attaching trial evidence. Avoid treating a family name as proof that every configuration accepts the same feed.

Ask the supplier to identify which material streams are included in the proposal and which are excluded or awaiting review. “Mixed recyclables” is too broad when it could mean separately processed materials, a controlled mixture or an unidentified combined feed.

Define whether the materials are separate or mixed

For separate streams, give each its own description, quantity basis and intended output. For an actual mixture, describe its known components and variability. Do not assume that two separately acceptable materials form an acceptable combined feed.

Use existing site records and the responsible team’s approved material assessment. Unknown, hazardous or incompatible feed must be referred to qualified personnel. This purchasing guide does not authorize a trial or provide instructions for loading a machine.

Use a material-to-evidence map

  • Material A: identity, form, size range, condition and evidence source.
  • Proposed machine: configuration and quotation revision.
  • Trial record: sample identity, conditions and measurements.
  • Decision: supported for the documented scope, inconclusive or awaiting a separate review.
  • Material B: its own record rather than a copied result from Material A.

A demonstration video should carry enough identification to be assigned to the correct row. If the material or configuration is unclear, keep the evidence unverified. Visual resemblance is insufficient to establish that the demonstration represents your proposed purchase.

Recognize an unsupported transfer

Suppose a buyer has a documented cardboard trial and also wants to discuss a metal feed stream. The cardboard result may answer questions about that recorded cardboard setup. It does not establish suitability, output or consumables for the proposed metal stream. The metal requirement remains a separate technical question.

Conversely, a metal-related catalog category does not invalidate a documented nonmetal inquiry. The practical issue is whether the exact configuration and material pairing is supported. This example does not assert that a particular HPM model is suitable for either feed; that determination belongs in the configuration-specific review.

Keep a change visible instead of combining results

If the material form, composition or condition changes, identify the changed field and ask whether the existing evidence still applies. Do the same when the supplier proposes a different chamber, tying arrangement or other configuration element. Record the answer and any additional evaluation required.

The acceptance-test reference provides broader protocol questions. Use the agreed protocol and qualified supervision for any trial; do not improvise an operational test from a purchasing checklist.

Request a bounded material review

Send Nanyuan separate material briefs with the proposed configuration, representative evidence, target output requirements and open questions. Ask for each material to be addressed explicitly. A concise evidence map makes it easier to distinguish supported scope from a requirement that still needs technical assessment.
